Barbed Broaches

To use a Schwed Broach, first establish the canal pathway using a file or reamer of the appropriate diameter. Then use a broach small enough so that it will not bind the canal as it is inserted to the apex. Rotate the broach one full turn clockwise engaging the pulp on the barbs so that it may be extirpated. For removing pulp tissue, cotton pellets, paper points or other soft materials. These styles have handles for digital manipulation.
